I had a really positive experience learning to drive with Carl. From day one he was patient, calm, and clear in his explanations, which made a huge difference to my confidence on the road.

One of my biggest weaknesses was manoeuvres—especially parallel parking—but Carl broke everything down in a way that finally made it click for me. He never made me feel rushed or stressed, and he always gave helpful feedback that actually improved my driving lesson on lesson.

What I appreciated most was that he created a relaxed atmosphere while still keeping everything professional. You feel comfortable making mistakes, and you feel supported while fixing them.

 Carl is not only a great driving instructor, he’s a kind and enthusiastic person. Throughout my experience with Carl, he made me feel comfortable and safe when behind the wheel. When mistakes were made, he was reassuring and encouraging to boost my confidence back up. He cares deeply about all of his students and he made my learning experience extremely positive. He is an honest and caring person who never failed to make me laugh, even on the lessons which didn’t go to plan. I am appreciative and grateful for all our laughs and funny moments we had during my time with Carl and wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to learn with.

 

Learning to drive with Carl was a great decision. I felt that he managed my development with a calm and reassuring manner. He explained everything in a way that I would understand, and if I was ever confused with something he would make sure to find another way to explain. 

Carl taught in a structured way which I found really useful, each time he would inform me of the lesson plan, and make sure I was happy with it. What I also appreciated was the calm and relaxed atmosphere during my lessons, i knew that any issues or concerns I had with my driving journey I could bring up and Carl would help me overcome it.

During my time learning, I struggled with anticipation and planning this caused me to often make mistakes in mock tests. Carl quickly discovered that this was an issue holding me back on my drives and we explored several different techniques to fix this issue in a way that best suited me. Carl also took me on many test routes which I found really helpful as I knew when I come to complete my driving test, I had already driven the route with Carl guiding me through.

I’d personally really recommend Carl as an instructor if your looking for someone to feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and ask questions with a helpful and professional response.

Carl is a very good driving instructor with lots of experience. In a matter of months Carl built my confidence behind the wheel and got me ready for my test. He was honest about my progress and provided a clear and structured lesson plan. Throughout my lessons it showed how passionate he is about his pupils succeeding and always took each lesson seriously. It was a great experience learning to drive with Carl ,100% value for money and I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Carl and I worked well together. I had some bad driving habits I’d picked up previously and Carl was able to teach me better ways to drive. He didn’t just teach me how to pass my driving test but how to ultimately be a good driver. I was able to pass my test first time thanks to the patience and insight Carl has. Now I work for Royal Mail and I drive for a living and if that’s not proof of his capabilities I don’t know what is. You won’t find a better teacher in Cheshire. Thanks for everything Carl!
